NURSES' UNITED AGAINST MARK SLOAN!
Say it loud and say it PROUD! We are UNITED. We are DONE. Mark Sloan, watch your back because we are FED UP. Tired of your come-ons and one-liners. We’re not taking it anymore! Okay, Mark Sloan has never actually come on to ME but I have a feeling it’s just a matter of time. Not that I WANT him to come on to me or anything. I mean - EEEW. Big biceps. Nice assets. Killer smile. Whatever. TOTALLY not interested. Not at all.
BTW - What in the world is Meredith doing carrying her Mother’s ashes around???? In a baggie. A BAG FULL OF MOMMY?!? I thought she put Ellis Grey to rest long ago! But apparently Ellis has been in Meredith’s kitchen cubby all day!!! Hello. This is a hospital. A sanitary place. Leave your bag of dead people ashes in the back of your closet where it belongs Dr. Grey! I must admit, Ellis was a TOUGH woman. I remember as a young nurse being absolutely intimidated by her. But she loved what she did and more than that she was a BRILLIANT surgeon. I have a soft spot for her because she was so passionate about saving lives. I hope Dr. Grey’s final resting place will be somewhere comfortable and happy. Or at least, somewhere other than here. In my hospital. In a plastic frickin’ bag!
Okay, let’s talk about the OTHER Grey for a minute please. Okay not so much the other Grey, more like the other Grey’s boyfriend. MCDREAMY IS DATING???? Well, that’s what I hear! Is it true??? All I know is Sydney Heron was babbling extra loud in the ladies’ room today (the woman has NO volume control, truly) and said that she officially met Derek Shepherd for the first time today and how when he shook her hand, he held on for a beat longer than necessary. In that moment, she felt a connection. Yeah, whatever Sydney. Whatever “Heal Love and Touchy Feeling-ness.” Save that for someone else because let me tell you, Derek Shepherd is not for you. I would change bed pans for a month straight if he ever showed a bit of interest!
But seriously, all jokes aside with Sydney thinking she might have a chance with McDreamy, is he really ready to date? There has to be SOME truth to it. I’m looking around and I’ve noticed that all the ladies are re-applying makeup a lot more frequently which means SOMEBODY is single and that SOMEBODY is usually a doctor. And the doctor’s name I’m hearing is Shepherd. I wonder how he could be ready to date now so soon after Meredith? And how is Meredith taking this???? Is SHE ready to date? Is she just going to stand there and let someone like Derek Shepherd walk out of her life? Has she ever heard of fighting for something? Because let me tell you, he seems like someone you’d fight for. I don’t know. I think the ladies around here have been given false hope. Whether Derek is ready to date or not…he only has eyes for one lady. I know when a man is in love. And I know when a man is in love trying to distract himself. I don’t want to be the woman who is used as a distraction. No way.
Speaking of distraction, Alex Karev has a heavy dose of it today. I heard Alex was in the on-call room for several hours with a certain person who used to be a patient. Lewy told me. Lewy also told me that Alex left Ava, I mean Rebecca, I mean Jane Doe, I mean-you know. Faceless ferryboat surgery girl from a few months ago…Anyway, she was waiting… waiting for quite some time before she finally left. I saw her leave. She didn’t seem angry or anything but she seemed a bit anxious. And she kept looking around hoping, I guess that she would run into Alex. Alex went flying past me not long after Rebecca left. He seemed so disappointed. Like he wanted to tell her something. Maybe they had things to say. Maybe not. It’s interesting to see that soft side of Alex. The side that makes him dash across the hospital for a girl. The side that looks just a little crushed when he finds her gone. He seemed to have a lot on his mind before he left tonight…I wonder what the future holds for them.
Well anyway folks HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I’m dressed as a nurse for Halloween this year (hey, if it ain’t broke…) and on my way to Joe’s for a little trick or treating with a certain cute intern by the name of Steve who passed out last week in my car. He wouldn’t wake up AT ALL and I had to pick him up and carry him into the house. I’ve never dated a guy who I could physically carry but I don’t know I kind of liked it…
PLEASE knock some sense into Meredith Debbie. She definitely needs it. :)

McDreamy's not available, it was a sick joke for Mark Sloan (very convincing by the way) And Meredith is trying, and I'm thinking she needs an extra nudge, and you could also help by spreading the word that he's in love with Meredith and he's just tryi ng to get distracted from that because she's not exactly read yet. However he's gonna realize he doesn't want to settle down with anyone else. Help them please, Debbie! ps. Give Sydney a whack over the head for us!!

Hmm because Derek is an ass, seriously, he may be cute but he is SO not worth it, Meredith finally seemed to have learned that. A cute face does not make someone worth it.
Look at Alex, a****le personified and I wouldn,t approach him with a ten-foot pole.
Not surprised he has now joined the dirty mistress club as well, that was like him.
Really glad George and Izzie are finally a real couple, been waiting forever for that and how adorable where they at the end smiling at each like that? I SO love them.

As for George and Izzie i'm still not so sure. And Christina and Callie moving in toghether? What's up with that? As for Mark, as long as he stays away from Merideth and McDreamys future, he can sleep with anyone he please!

George and Iz... the sweetest scene at the end of the episode on that bench...
Richard helping Mer wash away Ellis' ashes in the most appropriate place on earth for Ellis, the Super Surgeon...
Karev doin the nasty nasty with Rebecca.. in of all the cliche places the on call room... seriously?
Not really feeling Yang's or Karev's (excuse me but Rebecca/Ava/Jane Doe is Peg friggin Bundy - Married with Child!!) uppity high horseness with the whole George and Iz thing - I didn't see Cristina taking umbridge with Mer sleeping with a married man even after he didn't pick her, after he walked away, and now, there's sex and mockery.. those two, I swear! Mer and Earless Boy (too cute for words) Trick or Treating for ears, I tell you! Classic!
In conclusion, what Izzie said to George while they were sitting on that bench outside of the hospital rings true for so many of us in so many of life's scenarios - the surest sign of success is simply making it from one day to the next - even and most especially when the day in question seems impossible and the obstacles in your way appear so insurmountable that you fear you won't make it. But make it, they did. I'm no fan of infidelity, and it seems to run rampant in the halls of Seattle Grace, but I do love George and Iz together and it seems to me that even before Callie ran off and married O'Malley in Vegas, she knew that there was more to George and Iz than just BFF... just a thought...
Anyhoo, totally loving the Nurses United aganst McSteamy... just 'cause I love him (Sloan is hotness personified) doesn't mean y'all have to put up with his chronic womanizing. Go Nurses!! Until next week dear... **waves**

Oh Debbie you are full of useful info. I have a feeling that Derek will be dating but he's not really available. While he may be willing to distract himself with other women we all know that he's waiting for Meredith. And Meredith, well she doesn't deserver that but she may in fact need that. Something has to wake her up.
I was beyond pleased to see the personal growth that Meredith displayed. I thought the first dream scene was the best. I'm ready for her to tell McDreamy about what happened when she died. She got a lot going on up top but she's gotta tell people all those thoughts if she wants to keep growing. She's gotta take action. It's going to hurt to see Derek dating but I'll be more focused on Meredith growing and changing so that he will finally see her.

Sweetest scene of the show was George and Izzie making it through the day TOGETHER, now they are a real team, my dream team.
