Nurse Debbie On "Those Ties That Bind"...

Izzie Stevens has lost it.  I mean it.  She’s gone.  I caught her talking to herself today.  Several times… just having a little conversation.  I know that what happened to her with Hahn and the whole transplant gone wrong guy really affected her.  How could it not?  I mean, besides the massive guilt, she’s probably overwhelmed with Denny Duquette thoughts.  She’s probably depressed and missing him again.  I bet anything that’s why she’s talking to herself. 

I remember when the incident happened and Izzie’s first week back.  She talked to herself then.  Kind of gave herself mini pep talks.  I could tell she was just trying to get through the day.  But this is different – Izzie, to me, seemed to be talking to SOMEONE.  I know it’s silly but I poked my head into the gallery to check on my patient.  He’s such a nice man.  And what a miracle that his heart now beats on its own!!  Anyway, Izzie was in the gallery.  Alone.  And she was sitting there, holding a conversation with someone.  It kind of freaked me out so I told Nurse Tyler at the end of the night.  He told me that he saw Izzie saying “goodbye” to absolutely no one before leaving the hospital. 

It’s like, she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown.  How long can she continue to talk to the air before someone, like the Chief witnesses this behavior?  I honestly feel bad for her.  I mean, she’s had it tough here.  I hope things get better for her because it looks like Izzie Stevens can’t take one more bad thing happening…

Two questions?  Um, what happened to Hahn?  And, what happened to Hahn?  She was here and then she wasn’t.  I know that she was a little peeved at the whole Izzie/Denny “incident” and that she was a lot peeved at Callie for not taking her side in wanting to report Izzie but to just leave?  Walk out?  Especially on a relationship is just crazy.  I thought Callie took it pretty well until she broke down in the OR when her patient died. 

I just want the kid to have a break.  Enough with her getting hurt.  Hahn was obviously not adult enough for the relationship.  Come on people.  You just walk out on a relationship when your partner doesn’t side with you???? Who does that???  Hahn should be prepared to walk out on relationships for the rest of her life if that’s the case.  I wish her well and hope that she continues to save lives with her amazing talent.  I also hope that she just grows up enough to sustain a relationship that lasts more than five minutes. 

We may have a new cardiothoracic surgeon named Dr. Dixon. What’s she like?   Two words: freaking weird.

We have a new intern who is connected to Meredith Grey.  One word:  trouble.

My day is done here.  One word: beer.

Uhm - Erica Hahn didn't leave because "she wasn't adult enough" for a relationship. You know, there was this whole problem with Izzie and Denny and the stolen heart and she felt that what happened and how the hospital was dealing with it wasn't only unprofessional and unmoral but also plain WRONG. So, Callie siding with Izzie and not being able to see how wrong it was, is IMO a dealbreaker in a relationship. It's not about agreeing on everything but about agreeing on some basics. They didn't agree so Erica left - and I for one am glad she did, Callie didn't deserve her.

Hahn has been more than adult in this relationship. She has endured Callie continously freaking out and cheating on her with Sloan - twice!! Not siding with Erica was the last in a long list of offenses that Callie commited which led to the end of the relatioship.

Hahn was impatient, yes Callie kinda cheated but only cause Erica practically pushed her away. I'm glad that Erica left she should go find someone on the same page as her. No one wants to be in a relationship that feels like you could lose it if you don't agree with everything the person says or does.

I think Erica left because she was fed up with the hospital and its lax policies, not because of any fight that she and Callie had. Though there are plenty of reasons (Callie's cheating and her constant freaking out) why their relationship wasn't working. The adult thing for Erica to do WAS to walk away. If Callie really loves her and really want to fix it, she can find Erica.

I think Hahn will return. I also think the Erica and Callie made a cute couple. It shows the Callie cares when she broke down. They fought before and they worked it out. I think they will continue to work it out through the season.

1. No evolving storyline for Mer/Der. (anybody remember the great scene on the hilltop when they were planning a dream home? what happened to that?)

2. Izzie seeing, touching, and kissing a ghost? (KH has so much more to contribute than this stupid storyline) (and a possible brain tumor??? Please! That is sooooo yesterday!)

3. Christina falling for some humorless rogue character that wants to knock her into the wall to have sex. (It would have been much more interesting to see her fall for a good looking doctor with a sense of humor and watch her struggle to keep from cracking a smile once in a while)

4. What about a storyline for Richard Webber? (JP is such a great actor, please give him something to act!)

5. Same for Miranda Bailey! (CW was so much fun to watch in the first few seasons)

6. Using Mark Sloan as nothing more than a sexual preference indicator? (Please! If I were Eric Dane, I would exit GA and tell them to shove it!)

7. A heart surgeon with Asbergers? (don't people with Asbergers have uncontrollable movement?...not somebody you would want to do heart surgery)

8. Too many new characters and not enough good storyline for the characters we have grown to know and love!

9. Way too much blood and guts! With all the problems this show is having and the writers want me to look away from the screen so I don't get nauseated???

I would rather switch over to Kitchen Nightmares than see them destroy this show script by script! I'm out!

I'm with you. Izzie's gone round the bleedin' twist. But I like the direction when it includes Denny because, really, we all want Denny and Izzie's chemistry again...and from the look of the preview, there will be more than a little bit of that next week. I just wish JD could come back as someone else...the look and smile of Denny, but not dead Denny. I'd be talking to myself as well if my late beloved showed up. Looks like something is up: major breakdown, the rumored brain tumor..guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm sort of glad Hahn is gone...she was never a fav of mine in her "anger scenes." Keep your eyes and ears open, Deb!

A: What the hell Iz? Please don't be crazy. Just wake up the next day after the sweater burning and let there be no more denny sightings. It's bad enough that she's losing it but it's not just her, now there's alex. The guy, although jackass he may be, has been wanting her from the get go and no that he does she's going crazy, as did his most his last woman. Please pull it together.
B: Don't really care about Hahn. The whole Callie a lesbian thing was not working out. The worst part about it is that now there might be this weird-o heart woman in the hospital.
C: Hating Merideth's old friend showing up on the scene. Thinking she's apart of the group on her first day. Basically elbowing Yang out of the picture. Not a fan. And how crazy is she going to end up being. This crazy chick slicing into her back for no reason like that, trying to be all "hard core". Please, just go back where you came from.
D: Where has George been? He he's had maybe ten lines in the past two shows. Come on O'malley. Get in the Game.

I dont understand why the writer's are bringing back Denny. Izzie moved on with Alex and they make a better couple. I liked Denny at the time but he has been off the show for quite some time and then to just bring him back and shake things up..hmm...
